Two lectures on ARM / RTI were held by Elias Kanchon after which Questions & Answers (Q&A). One hour lecture / one hour open floor question & answers.

Subjects in the training were diary writing, personal information management, information on Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB), membership of TIB, discussion about school-fees and rights, need to keep the doctor prescription (of much importance for your health).

– What are archives?
– What is the relationship between archives & RTI?
– In what sectors and in relation to which subjects RTI can be applied (used)?
– Why ARM / RTI is useful for Government Organizations, NGO’s & in personal life?
– What is the process of use of RTI in life?

Specially much questions were asked by Md. Jonayed.

Participants: altogether 18 girls (Asma, Isratjahan Sorna, Sweety, Robina, Laki, Nusrat Jahan, Naima Akter, Surma,  Lipa, Sumaia, etc.); 20 boys (Shorif, Almamun, Shofiqul, Jakir, Shohel, Hredoy, Rubel,Jonayed, etc.)

Elias brought in his experience with training at Khulna, Dinajpur, Bangladesh Police Academy (BPA) etc.

Training material: NGO 60 Questions, published by Friends of Archives Bangladesh (FAB). Besides leaflets on RTI and the RTI application format (photocopy).

Participants were served some Breakfast.
